I mean, they were in the same threads for like 5 years, and the world didn't end. I'm sure we'll be fine.

I like how you talk about the Braves as if you're the starting short stop or some ****.

Nope, she works 2 full time jobs & earns more $ than I do.
10-26-2016 , 10:50 AM
2 full time jobs = 80 hours per week?

Naw, one job is at a school & full time is like 35 hours per week & the other is seeing foster kids in the community & full time is technically 25 hours per week. She probably averages about 30 there, plus has to turn in treatment notes in spare time. I'd say she's probably working about 70 hours per week.

Maybe 40-45 in the summer.

I didn't even know working that many hours was a thing.

Is it by choice, or necessity?
10-26-2016 , 11:09 AM
Maybe it's about the kids, and not the money/hours.

Today is Wednesday.
Middle of the road.
Wednesday.
Where the first half of each week slips silently into the second half.
Always forward.
The old hump (which is also a nickname for witty's mum).
Hump day.

Bump.

Yeah yeah, getting away from her kids. Got it. Doesn't seem very nice though.

Being a mom is also a ft job so that makes three of them

Choice mostly. I mean it helps us save toward buying a house, but I would never ask her to do that. She's just a really hard worker.

Yeah, she loves helping people...she also volunteers as a court appointed advocate for foster children.

I would consider parenting my 2nd full time job & a part time job for her...but 2.5 jobs is still a ton.

I hate when working Moms/Dads say that. It inadvertently implies at they're doing the same job an at-home parent does, in addition to their outside the home work.

It is a perfectly reasonable choice to dump your kid in daycare, but pretending to provide the same level of care I do, in your 30 min morning rush, or 2 hours after work, is insane.
