I feel like you're secretly just trying to make me admit I have a huge HGTV problem. I do. If it is on Netflix, I've almost certainly watched it.
Stone countertops for a flip makes good sense to me. They need to sell quickly and that is a squeal feature. High end floors aren't as sexy/noticeable.
I don't think I trust wood in high traffic areas with water.
