As long as it's in before the national anthem, it counts. I'm pretty sure it's mostly luck. If people were professional prop bet pickers, they probably would be too busy to enter the contest.

Bumping for 3:2, Kristy vs. Wisski!

(/shameless bragging. He just destroyed me in the first two...I'm pretty jazzed to make a comeback!)

Driving into Chicago @ rush hour prolly not a great idea. Stopping in the suburbs for beer & ice cream.

No excuses here in playing poorly, but the first two I was full concentration and the last three have been played intermittently the ought the day while I'm pulling full time job duties. Ugh, I'm bad and I should feel bad... Although I am 4 for 4 on opening games against 4lifers

I've played about 5% of a game against Kristy so far, so I can't comment on who will win.

Sorry for the delay. Family stuff going on, finding it hard to focus on the game, and I want to do a good job.

That wasn't meant to be a prod at you to speed up. I'm not exactly going anywhere.

I went to bed and woke in the middle of the night thinking I heard someone cry, thinking I myself was weeping, and I felt my face and it was dry.

Then I looked at the window and thought: Why, yes, it's just the rain, the rain, always the rain, and turned over, sadder still, and fumbled about for my dripping sleep and tried to slip it back on.

I was wondering why Ryan Beal modded me over you 5 years ago...

Have I really been a mod here for 5 years? That's insane.

I guess when I became a mod I was living in FL, married to some bia, had no kids, etc.

So yeah...I guess 5 years makes sense. Now I live in Vegas, am married to a non-bia & have 2 crazy but awesome kids.

Must have been becoming a mod that led me down this better path...

Yes...actually I guess I've been a mod for almost 6 years.

In March 2010 I'm chilling on my coach in FL rubbing my then-wife's foot & she's all like uhhh I'm not in love with you. & I'm like ummmm deuces. Went up to Boston in April to be around family & friends. Supported myself playing poker (& by living with my parents for minimal bills).

Spent the next 9 months or so trying to figure out what to do next. One day in January 2011 when snowbanks taller than me I was like f all this, I'm going to Vegas.

Left for Vegas like a week later, embarking on a cross country trip that I did a big TR for & involved a bunch of 4Lifers. Got to Vegas the day after the Packers beat the Steelers in the SB (whoop).

Had my 1st date with my now wife on April 10, 2011. Had our 2nd date April 11th & 3rd April 12th & asked her out in the Venetian parking garage on April 13th.

I proposed to her in September 2012, then a week or so later we found out she was a couple weeks pregnant. We got married as planned April 13, 2013, and had our 1st child June 8, 2013 (Trey).

2nd, & final, child was born July 11, 2015 (Ty).

Since I met my wife, we have spent all but 3 days together...1 about 2 weeks info or relationship when she went to her brother's wedding in Denver & it was too late to add me, & 2 a few months ago when her & Ty went to Oklahoma when her grandmother died.

So yeah...it's been a crazy amazing 5 years. I used to fight with my ex-wife every single day. It was the worst, but I put up with it because I felt like I didn't deserve to be treated any better.

After I got out of that situation, I learned otherwise.

Tl;dr

Is that your real life or a love story movie?

100% true story. 1st date was supposed to just be lunch, but we ended up going to a place at the Wynn for ice cream, then walking around the Wynn, then wandering around the mall. We've been kind of addicted to each other ever since.

Life obviously not always that simple or easy, but I got ridiculously lucky, & try to never take that for granted.

Probably would be a really boring movie.
