Morning!
Today is Thursday.
The average person farts 14 times per day.
It's nice to be above average, even if it's not Friday.

So the other day he had me up basically from 1 am to 5 am & he was all blah & not feeling great. My wife wasn't working until late afternoon, but wanted to get some at home work done for her job, but when she took him to daycare around 11 he freaked out, so she decided to take him home & let him nap there & then bring him back. His girlfriend (18 month relationship) was sad he was leaving, so after his nap he told my wife he wanted to make her a card to make her feel better. He made the card, gave it to her & apologized.

Your son is the cutest little guy ever.

Lily really only learns words by song, so we're very limited and selective about what we watch.

Basically, I pre-screen and tailor our events to the songs. Because of this we really only watch Sesame Street, Daniel Tiger, a youtube channel called "Little Baby Bum" that does nursery rhymes.

The only other show predates her diagnosis, and is our absolute ace-in-the-hole... Classical Baby.

No matter what she is doing, she comes and sits down and relaxes whenever this is on... (it took me this long to respond because she heard the intro while I was getting the link, and we had to snuggle and watch the whole episode)

Your oldest might be beyond this, but I bet your little guy will dig it soon.

I have a 4 year old son, some of the **** he tries to watch are whack.

People who write kids shows are confirmed crackheads

Gonna be honest. I open this thread and when it sucks, I don't read/follow it for a day. I've not followed it for about 4 days in a row now.

Have nothing to add the last few days of convos.

I tried to put on Blues Clues for Lily the other day (The proper ones with Steve, 'cause **** Joe, that's why)...the best part about it was GW's reaction.

I'd like to thank you for continuing to not pollute the gene pool.

Yeah, he's ridiculously sweet like 63% of the time, and a ridiculous punk like 37%.

The baby is so easily amused...I feel so bad. Trey takes up like 95% of attention at all times. Ty feeds himself, amuses himself with his jumper or sitting up & playing with blocks or whatever, & gets the biggest smile when you play with him or talk to him or sing to him.

This is the card Trey made for his gf. It's a bit rudimentary. He was so tired that day he apparently fell & banged up his face while playing...

Lily and I are starting a program in March where she will have 45 minutes to play with kids while I am not supervising...I'm slightly afraid she's just going to destroy them.
She's about 40" tall and and 37lbs...she towers over kids her age.

I don't see any sweet apology cards forth coming...but maybe I should prepare some outgoing ones.

I've been wracking my brain for suggestions on this front, but my 3 are spaced so that the next wasn't born until the last was in school fulltime.

What about playing Daniel Tiger/Baby Margaret, so you two big dudes can work together to focus on Ty?

I've also done "awesome big brother/big sister rewards"...
You might be above blatant, unabashed, bribery, tho.

Meh, bribery is how the world works. Can't hurt to teach them early.
