"its interesting to compare this to the crime maps made by the Toronto Star, especially concerning robberies per 10k. You might find some (not so surprising) correlations"

Way too many hipsters with beards and flannel hanging out in independent coffee shops on their macbooks, though
The faux part is the 2nd Gens and the bogus cross-culturism. If you're from there it is hard to see, but it's the verbal/attitude equivalent of wearing a scarf that is not for warmth, and the VAST majority of Torontonians do it.

It's December and I'm still going out everyday in just a tshirt. That's the level of badass that I am.

Kristy, What part of Canada are you from?
12-09-2015 , 07:09 PM

2015 f150... 19000 miles on it and the front cover gasket starts to leak oil. Should have bought a chevy

I typed that quickly, 'cause my phone started ringing and I didn't want it to go to VM, but the awkward phrasing annoys me....

I grew up in Kitchener-Waterloo.
12-09-2015 , 07:19 PM
Oh cool. I'm from Guelph.
12-09-2015 , 07:35 PM
Did you play poker in the area? Are you on the Canadian forum?
12-09-2015 , 07:43 PM
No, I was in Toronto by the time I started playing, and I've only ever played online.
12-09-2015 , 07:50 PM
Not even Fallsview or Niagara?
(Omitting Brantford on purpose, 'cause I hate limit)

I haven't played a live hand of poker for money since we had a $.01/$.02 game on the bus on the way home from our grade 8 grad trip.
12-09-2015 , 09:04 PM
That was a lot of money back then tho

I'm not judging...but how does one become a mod on a poker forum if he/she does not now, or historically, play poker?
12-09-2015 , 09:17 PM
I played poker online from like 2004-09.

Yeah, I generally played in the halfpenny games but I was taking a shot.

Does anyone here even play poker anymore?
