in some ways, i feel a sense of loss in that- it was an easy way to meet people or at least people watch but on the other hand, it too easily filled a void that i think other activities could probably more sufficiently satisfy.

lol no offense taken brosef, i think i actually feel comfortable enough sober now to go to bars, but the thing that always ****s me up is that i create unrealistic expectations for what the outcome would be. if i am completely realistic, i need to ask myself if i would enjoy going to the bar, sitting alone, drinking water or a pop and watch people interract, and although it might certainly entertain me for a little while i would most likely eventually become anxious and leave unhappier than when i entered.

but life's pretty good, if make it to Thursday, it'll be 5 months sober and i will have surpassed my previous longest period of abstaining from a slow suicide. oh, and i'm prolly gonna do a road trip soon and visit at least one omger
