Well, this is sorta like a stats-lite class. The way it was taught to us is that we can find either z-values and a ci that the pop proportion is between x and y, or use t-values and a ci that the pop mean is between x and y.

We did nearly all proportions last assignment, since we didn't know the mean one yet, but the questions on this new assignment are asking for ci's of for proportions as well. A later question asks for the ci of an avg, so I assume that's the other one. For another, it doesn't really make sense and I have no clue wtf to do.

okay, I'll start-

I went to breakfast with my Grandma who I don't know how old she is, mid 80s I think. She drives like a maniac. I sort of wanted to have an open conversation with her about stuff she already knows about me (why I moved back to Michigan) just to get it out in the open, but I could not get past the barrier of bringing it cause lots of stuff just goes not-talked about in my family even though people know about it. I think it's a Dutch thing. She even told me about how she used to take a bunch of sleeping pills and down them with Southern Comfort but then used her stubborn self-will to abruptly stop, but then she segwayed into something else quickly and it seemed my mooment to bring it up passed. Instead, I ended up talking about how I am trying to exercise a bunch and that I have been slackin on joining a gym, which I really need to do cause I ran with my shirt off yesterday, and realized I'm not quite as cut as last summer and probably should have worn a shirt. Then she gave me $100 to join a gym and I told her I don't need it, but she gets all weird and defiant about it, so I didn't argue with her. It's like her way of expressing love os.

Then I went home and there was a male and a female duck right by my parent's front door and they were being weird, like they didn't move as I approached but just started quacking at me. So I just stood there and observed them. (My game needs some work, so I figured I'd watch the mating ritual) The female was waddling around all weird and kept stumbling, so I thought she might be hurt, but then she was like wiggling her ass and fluffin her feathers and expanding the area of her body that seems to be where the stomach of ducks is, (this is just a guess, I never took any avian anatomy classes). So we she kinda croushed down I thought maybe she was gonna lay some eggs os, but instead she just took a dump. This whole time she was just waddlin around in circles and quacking and the male was kinda waddling to and fro near her and was also quite chatty, albeit a bit less. After watching this for a little bit, I got bored, so I got nearer to them and they both just started quackin up a storm and I thought they were maybe gonna bite me, but then they flew away.

Later in the day, I went for a bike ride and stopped by my older sister's house to say hi to my 4yo niece who is one of the few people in the world that thinks I am really cool. She wanted to show me her new moves on her bicycle (or quadcycle, I guess, since it still has the training wheels on), which consisted of her grimacing and pedaling a hard as she could straight at the garage door, and then slamming on the brakes and making a skid mark on the pavement. Pretty balla for a 4yo imo. Then, as I was trying to leave she kept jumping out in front of me cause she wanted to play My Little Ponies with me. I told her I didn't want to cause she never lets me be Rainbow Dash. Maybe next time she will. Then I road 30 miles and a couple cars honked at me cause there wasn't room to get around me on a rather busy road, but I just ignored them. A little bit later I saw I super cute chick running while I was no-handsing it, so for some reason I decided to do what I only really know to refer to as the "who's the man?" thing, where you like make a gun with both hands and point at the person. Then I thought how stupid that was and that Giz would probably hate me for doing it. Later, I road down I road that is still flooded, but it was only a few inches deep, but that was enough to get the disgusting smelling water all over me. I road through a part of town I hadn't been to in forever and it there where a lot of signs in Spanish and some cars had really shinny fancy rims.

After that, I went to my 3rd AA meeting of the day, and gave an out-of-towner a ride back to where he was stay. Ups, that's not interesting, sorry. :s

Having gone home and consumed some amazing marinated chicken, a salad, and some fresh fruit, and feeling pretty grateful that my parents feed me awesome food, I went to yet another AA meeting, and listened to a 39yo chick who has an amazing body and likes to wear very form-fitting clothing, cry and talk about how one of her good friends had just relapsed and how it kinda made her want to drink as well, which kinda made me want to drink (with her).

Then I came home and posted stuff.

Yeah, I went to a speaker meeting that she spoke at, (which you guys should try sometime, people tell about all the **** that they've done in the past and they can be prettay prettay entaining sometimes) and can confirm your assessment imo. Progress, not perfection, tho.

I have been to at least one na aa type meeting in my life. I accompanied my friend who was only 15, 16 maybe. They got confused and thought he was there for a parent who was alcoholic, not that he was there cuz he got arrested smoking pot.

I recall very little. I think I was drunk on grape koolaid and everclear. Which I don't recommend drinking for any reason ever.

If you have a scanner you can scan it and send it to me and I'll have a look at it. It's really not that complicated. It's all variations on the same basic theme. To have greater confidence you need a wider confidence interval or more samples and they're related. It gets kind of tricky when you don't have enough samples to invoke the central limit theorem but not bad.
