Certainly not the rules of the road as she slowly shuffled diagonal across the street. It sucked for me because I was trying to turn right and she was in the middle of my way for THE MAXIMUM amount of time. She came up to my window and started mumbling something at me but I couldn't understand and there was no ****ing way I was gonna roll my window down to let this toothless old hag holler at me. She wants A) to suck my **** for a couple bucks B) a couple bucks handout for nothing or C) to rob me of everything I have and I want D) none of the above. So I just pulled off hoping she didn't try jumping in front of me, which I thought was a real possibility.
It got me to thinking exactly how many bad decisions do you need to make in your life to get to that point. JFC living like that must be a nightmare.
Also, I think people should have the freedom to make "bad" (or what I would consider bad maybe they don't) decisions but for **** sake. Wasn't there something we as a society could have done to intervene in the downward spiral that has been her life for what I can only assume is approaching decades now? We can't stop everyone from completely ****ing their lives up but Christ almighty it seems like we have a disproportionate number of total train-wrecks out there in USA#1.
Probably won't be long until someone finds her dead of a heat stroke or frozen to death under a highway overpass. nh, gg.
