ya but is this like he genuinely wants you to be involved in his kid's life because he thinks you'll be a positive role model

or is he just doing it in the expectation that you'll spend money on the kid and babysit when he wants to go out and pretend he's young still

I don't think he wants me to babysit, but he wants of be around whenever he feels like relieving stress/getting away or whatever. It's fu**ked up because I still feel like a kid, living with my parents and not knowing what I want to do with my life. I dunno, this is all self-pitying drink crap, move on BBV.

just say yeah no problem, you'll probably go to the christening and maybe a few family days os, then they'll move house have another kid or two and will be 2 busy busy. sure you'll still see them on "special" occasions, maybe a wedding, tell them you cant believe how much little johny has grown up
