LOST is behind the wire, mad men, breaking bad, friday night lights and the west wing in my power rankings, so if you havent seen any of those I'd recommend them ahead of LOST even tho I still love it to death (DISCLAIMER: never seen the sopranos hence it's absence from the list)
I hated Lost, mostly just cause I hated my roommate who would DVR episodes and only seemed to want to watch them when there was football on, and it's like ffs dude, you have it recorded watch it some other time. I tried to watch an episode once and I was just like wtf is going on, I mean I guess if I cared or knew anything about the characters it might've been more entertaining. I also didn't like it because people would be like omg did you see the last episode of Lost? and that's all they wanted to talk about, ever. Like, it's just a TV show, surely there are just as mysterious and fascinating things irl that we could discuss and analyze. Mostly I was just bitter that I never got into it and missed out on what so many other seemed to care so much about, but too often I feel as though I should watch a TV series that everyone else is watching just so I have something to talk about with them, but then I think how dumb that would be to do, and I get kinda stubborn about not doing it because I don't want to do it for a dumb reason.
