havn't played much since i moved out here to colorado. they have $100 max bet gambling laws so the game is 2-100 spread limit instead of 1-2 NL(or 5-100 spread instead of 2-5 nl).

i find it makes the games play a bit more awkwardly. perhaps ill play a tournament.

i was thinking about going tonight but we're in the middle of a semi-flood atm :s

flying to Melbourne next month to play a tourney. it's on a boat and we'll be cruising as we play. should be fun. it's just a one day tourney tho so we'll be heading off to the Crown afterwards.

its only this state. until a few years ago it was 5 dollar max bet. i suspect they will lift the cap eventually.

If people complain about stuff it often gets deleted. Mike Haven etc get post reports, & best not to make people like that waste their time on 4L stuff.

As such, stuff periodically gets deleted or turned into a link, & it might not always seem that consistent. We don't infract much tho unless malicious, so not really a big deal.

When I 1st moved to FL the only poker was 2/2 limit. Kinda like 2/4 limit, only the bet never goes up to 4...it's always 2.

Then they switched to having NL with a $100 max buy-in...they even spread 5/10 NL with $100 buy-in.

Then right after I moved they switched to uncapped.

they also have 5-10 game game with 100 max bet here which i find pretty funny.

the best game is 30-60 limit, but it plays pretty big for me and also i have hardly any experience in limit holdem.

30 - 60 limit is pretty big

when poker first came here about 10 years we started with 5/10 and 10/20 limit for a couple of years before NL was introduced.

we don't get many players here so it doesn't ever get big. 10 tables of 2/3 and 3/5 NL are what's to play here. limit holdem em got the boot.
