This sounds like an awful bet. Jays should be projected to win ~7.5 more games than Sox...but I would take on the bet if I could have the J dressed up in Jays stuff if they won, with the 3 in Sox stuff, & vice versa if Sox win for both of our avatars.

scrambled with lots of spices, esp. chili. I like it spicy and it makes me kinda think it kills harmful bacteria in eggs. Probably not true tho.

Dilemma is when you're stuck in bed with beautiful woman on one side and gay on the other. Who you gonna turn your back to?

this is precisely why 0pp didn't go through with the bet...he doesn't know sh** about baseball.

i would call that a predicament...but i'm curious how you wound up between the two of them

i agree that many of the most ridiculous beliefs that people hold that end up doing the most harm to others are based on religion, but i just assume those people could find something else just as dumb and harmful to believe if religion didn't exist. mao and stalin were pretty anti-religious. not sure how slavery started, but don't think it was the bible telling people that africans weren't human so it's okay to use them as slaves, and that people came up with that on their own.

i doubt livra's religious, but he has some pretty crazy beliefs that would not work out that well were he to find a way to impliment them, though I do not mean to be comparing him to stalin, mao, or slave owners.

Hitler wasn't an athiest, but i don't think he based his beliefs on a reading of the bible, though i really have no idea if religion played any role in his beliefs.

I also don't mean to compare lirva to hitler.

too late, JM, diner already took the bet. never underestimate the power of toronto sports teams losing ways to exceed expectations. however, I will offer diner the same bet for leafs vs bruins if they ever play again, just to even things out.

brickie, i did not experience that spoiler thing you asked about

biceps, not sure exactly where you're from but http://www.rochester.edu/College/REL.../religion.html

Religion is neither dumb or harmful. People are.
And I also don't think slavery had much to do with religion. Most harmful was misunderstanding it.

Still disagree with this though. Religions use scare tactics to try and control you.

Lirva thinks Kurt cobain is a god. So there's that.
