In PS release today, they stated they are cleared to apply for a license at the state level as well.

You say you want to move that bed, but you don't want it bad, you just kinda want it.

You don’t want it more than you want to party. You don’t want it as much as you want to be cool.

From PS blog:

"One final word about the future U.S. market. Our settlement acknowledges that both PokerStars and Full Tilt are eligible to apply for a license in the U.S. to offer real money poker when states or the federal government offer such an opportunity. We look forward to this opportunity and are confident that we bring tremendous value, regulatory experience, market credibility and financial integrity to the marketplace."

Time will tell, I suppose.

I saw some nice weightlifting the first day and now it wont stream anymore of it.
07-31-2012 , 02:46 PM
And Canada even won a bronze too and there is no "play this event" button for that one.
07-31-2012 , 02:49 PM
Fred Phelps going for gold.
07-31-2012 , 02:52 PM
They have this streaming chat when you play an event, and next to the weight lifting is the comment "why are they all having trouble lifting them?"

07-31-2012 , 02:54 PM
because they girls.
07-31-2012 , 02:55 PM

Fastest swimmer didn't win.

I was watching that, MsBlueberry. A lot of people "bombed out", i.e. failed on all three of their lifts and didn't get to register a successful lift. There were really very few successful lifts at all that I saw.
07-31-2012 , 02:58 PM
lol canadian announcers. "MICHAEL PHELPS MAKES HISTORY!!! No! he doesn't!"
07-31-2012 , 02:59 PM

Ahh, thank you! Since I'm watching replays, the chat isn't real time so that makes more sense.
