The reality is the guns in the US aren't going anywhere as long as people want them (see Prohibition and the War on Drugs).

We also have some horrible cultural and socioeconomic issues in the US that contribute to violence. Which I think are the real problems we should be worried about.

Evan I got my tube fixed but gonna maybe get a self-fixin' one aorn. What was it called and 'bout how much should it cost. Also, one of my rear break pads is so worn down rear breaks do nothing. Is that something worth fixin'?

Anyways.... they made another offer today and we talk again tomorrow. Still 99.99% sure I am going to just quit and not accept the new offer.

Why not accept the new offer and see how things look in a few weeks. It's a lot easier to quit then than think to yourself "damn I wish I'd taken that offer and not thrown it away". No?
