yeah thats why se is almost worse than oot. they think theyre smart and have cutting edge ideas while all they do is hate on successful teams because they managed to be fans for liek the buccaneers and timberwolves. its sad.

I really wish I could say the Bengals, but I don't think they can have 2 not terrible years in a row. Winning record last year means ~2-14 this year.

It's really difficult ever to go against Manning, but I'm gonna give him a one year buffer and say they don't make the playoffs until next year.

Texans / Ravens / Chargers / Patriots / Steelers / Bills

~75% retention.

this kinna invalidates every opinion you've ever had

Since 1998, the average turnover rate for playoff teams is 6.14. Five to eight teams that made the playoffs one year won't make it the next. Since 1996, no fewer than five teams a season have failed to repeat.

its less than a 50% retention rate

most of SE, like most people in general, are idiots. you just have to figure out the 10% that are good posters and regard the rest as noise

Well and my personality and my voice and my femininity (a word I have a 5% shot at typing correctly in under 30 seconds and ~2% success rate at saying it correctly not syllable by syllable) but otherwise just puppies.

I saw a study (or report or whatever) that although the public thinks the NFL has the highest parity and baseball the lowest, the NF actually has the lowest of the 4 sports and baseball the highest. I think it came out around the last time the Yankess "bought" a World Series or whatever. I think it was also based on the time there were 4 or fewer teams remaining, so it wouldn't count the first week of NFL playoffs.

Ya, I'd heard that before and I found this article from the Seattle Times with several more internal links.

pre 2000 doesnt matter since they real-lined divisions and got rid of a wild card spot.
07-19-2012 , 05:43 PM
did the divisions have fake lines before?
