Florida checks out. They actually have a program at the local uni for underwater crime scene investigation.

Diving is really "huge" or wide. There are different styles and types of diving like

- open water diver
- advanced open water diver
- wreck specialist
- rescue diver
- dive master
- tehnical diver
- solo diver
- dive instructor
- and many many more... something like martial arts with all that belts system


I guess, in 1st world countries, there are special pools for diving that are 20-30 meters deep or even more (that's a lot in metric sistem)

Ya, the Navy Diving and Salvage Training Center is here and it's pretty cool looking.
