Also, I'm not going to get into a lot of the funny interpersonal stuff & joking that went on the whole time cuz these are irl peoples & not 2+2 peoples so it's not really germane to anything, & this is already going to be long enough as it is.
So we arrive at Mohegan right around 4:

& park at the Riverview Garage (very conveniently located to the poker room):
We had intended to eat dinner at Bar Americain:

However, they didn't have any reservations available until after 9, so valuable lesson: make reservations early on Saturday's at Bar Americain.
We went a coupla weeks earlier & the steaks were delicious (ribeye, filet & New York all received high reviews), but the side dishes were kinda terrible, and it's a la carte, so I might suggest not getting sides, and maybe an app or something instead.
So anyway, we ended up at Birches Bar & Grill instead, which is bout 1/4 as expensive & definitely on the more casual end of the dining experience relatively speaking:

If I had known that was the last time I would see her on trip, I def woulda made sure to take picture, but expected to see her lata, but the timing of things was kinda messed up. I will say, she's kind of a big deal tho.

Enjoyed the lobster mac, but the philly was the messiest thing I've ever seen with gooey gravylike stuff all over the plate, thus making the roll ridiculously gloopy & soft. For the 1st time in my life I had to resort to eating a philly with knife & fork, wtf
From there, Beata went to play pokers, & the 5 of us went up to the hotel suite thing that 1 of my friend's dad had set up for us for the night. One two-room suite, & one single-room, with a door connecting everything so it was basically a 3 room, 2 bedroom suite with 3 bathrooms.
I notice that I failed miserably to take pictures of the inside of the suite, so here is one from the internet that looks kinda similer to 1 of the bedrooms (each had a king sized bed):
Room was on 30th floor & apparently would go for over $500 if friend's dad wasn't a baller so instead it was comped.
I did manage to take pictures of view:

After we hung out in rooms for a while, we went to the Jeff Dunham show (tickets were also comped). He's like a ventriloquist comedian guy. I wasn't too familiar with his work, so wasn't too enthusiastic (I also wasn't originally going to go, but there was a late scratch so I ended up getting a last minute invite), but it was actually really funny & we all had an excellent time.
We were in the front row & I was sitting bout 5 feet from a security guy & photography was prohibited:

After the show 3 of us ended up playing 1/2 NL in the fabolous Mohegan Sun poker room, which is better than Foxwoods & has nice high ceilings & such, but which you are not allowed to take pictures in, so here is the outside:
I was a bit disappointed with the drink service, as it only comes like once every half hour & the 1st time the waitress came around, the waitress didn't even get around to half the table before scurrying off without taking me & 1 of my friend's orders, and the other 1 ordered a beer which she failed to bring when she came back.
So after I'd been there for bout an hour I finally got a rum & coke, which was bout 80% ice. So I learned my lesson & got the next 1 with no ice...which led to a lot more delicious coke & a bit more rum, and is something I highly recommend (eventually I switched to strawberry daquiris cuz they're delicious, so f da haters). Last call was at 1:30, which is better than it was on Thursday (when I think it was like midnight), but I don't really see the point of having one.
Was down for a while, but ended up making $30 & called it a night round 3 a.m., and fell asleep by around 4 a.m.
Slept on the couch in the middle room, woke up round 8:30 this morning & every1 else was fast asleep so went down & played another hour of poker, making $69:
Went to breakfast around 11:30 at Tuscany by Todd English:
Automatic hand sanitizer dispenser is a good idea when so many people are coming straight from the tables:
Had a frittata omelette which was pretty delicious, but the waitress was pretty terrible & didn't like bringing me water even when I asked her for it
Still had a good meal tho, & one of my friends made an exciting condiment tower (not the one in the picture):
After breakfast we messed around with some sl0ts (not to be confused with sl00ts), and I made $3 playing video poker cuz they had some promotion where if you play $20 on Sunday between 8 a.m. & 2 p.m. you get $10 more to play on slots. I hate slots, but that's gotta be +ev, right?
After sl0ts, we took off & as such now I'm home, after having an excellent trip.

So ya, I made $102 gambling, spent not too much $$$, got some player club points to be spent on future trips to Mohegan, & had a really f great time

& here's the backyard...
I should be around. Going to Boston & NYC early September to visit family.
Won't have Bar results yet, so will prob still be working part time & have some free time to be stalked.

2 mins after that cleared up, someone almost backed straight into me out of their driveway, & 3 mins after that I had to stop for a flock of turkeys crossing street (ok, 2 turkeys...sorry for picture failure, was on phone)
I tried to get pics of all the state signs as I passed them, & gas signs at the various places I got gas, but missed a few states & forgot to get a few pics, so I'll skip the gas pics, & fill in missing state pics where applicable.
Anyway, I started in MA, next on the trip:
I rolled into NY without seeing a sign indicating same, and spent Saturday hanging out with my grandfather. Nuffin exciting or 4Lifey bout that.
Sunday morning I departed for Pittsburgh to hit up the Rivers Casino & hang with No Fizzle.
On the way, I went through Manhattan:
Where even the trucks are covered in graffiti:
Then on to New Jersey:
& finally PA:
Spent many hours (& $14 in tolls) driving through PA, which is a really boring azz state...I took several pics, but these are about as exciting as they get:
Anyway, I arrive in the late afternoon. The casino is right next to Heinz Field:
I was a bit early & hit up the poker room for a coupla hours:
Made a coupla hundred dollars playing 1/3 NL (1st time I had ever seen such a game) & then Fizzle showed up. We played for another hour or so (& I made another $100 or so), before he realized that his gf, who he gave some $$$ to play slots, had gotten very, very drunk. We wandered around the casino looking for her for a while, & when we found her proceeded to hit up some bars.
First we went to Excuses:
It took a long azz time to get there cuz his drunk azz gf was navigating & kept insisting we go the wrong direction. It was quite hilarious & I was treated to various details of their sex life & personal grooming that I won't share with the community
Here is the happy couple in front of the bar:
We hung out there for a while, had some beers, & Fizzle ran into some fellow Keisel fans:
Nice little hole-in-the-wall, friendly people, got to know Fizzle better. Really good d00d, fun to chill with, recommend hanging with him if y'all are ever in da Burgh
Next we went to the Tiki Lounge:
Pretty cool place:
We didn't stay there too long, as it was time for them to go home & get some sleep, & time for me to hit the road & get some of the ways into Ohio. All-in-all, very good time in da Burgh. Was nice meeting Fizzle, & was nice winning bout $340.
That night I encountered my 1st snow of the trip:
& it kept going as I headed into West Virginia:
I didn't see an Ohio sign, but I assume it would have looked something like this:
Only darker, cuz it was night time.
I found a POS hotel room in Cambridge OH, as I decided I was too tired to continue on to Pandaville that night. I asked how much it was, & the guy said $45. I was basically like umm no, & he said, ok, $21. I said ok.
Here is said room:
Wasn't terrible, bed was fairly comfy, & I was only there to crash, but the sink...

Anyway, I left pretty early the next morning to head to Pandaville, & got there on Monday around 1 or so iirc.

I met up with AngryPanda & we went straight for Skyline:
Due to circumstances in da Burgh, I hadn't eaten since lunch the day before
So apparently Skyline is a chili place famous for their chili. I don't happen to like chili, though, so I ordered this BLT thing which turned out to be some ridiculous salad wrapped in a pita:
IR dumb. Panda will surely mock me for not ordering chili, but I shall mock him for taking someone who doesn't like chili to a chili place, & for eating like a woman:
He ate most of the smaller plate & bout 2 bites of the larger one.
Then we went back to casa Panda & had a good relaxing time watching tv, playing cards, embarrassing myself in Halo, & having a cat lick my head

So anyway, Panda got some beers & I got a 40 (I'm not as good at greening stuff out as Panda):
& we hit up Buffalo Wild Wings:

& hit up some beers & some video screen gaming with Photo Hunt & trivia & such (dominating in all games, ldo):
On the way out, Panda saw a Panda in the claw game thing, & determined that it was necessary that he go ahead & get it. Which he of course did on his 1st try.
I have a picture of Panda with Panda, but it has been sent to Panda for greening as he deems necessary, & will be posted at that time.
Hanging with Panda was a lot of fun. Was a nice way to relax & get to know him better & such & I highly recommend y'all do the same if he's willing to hang out with y'all
Only problem occurred when an ice storm hit that night. I went out to my car to get some stuff, & the moment I stepped onto the sidewalk, I went flat on my back, hurting that, & hitting the back of my head (sorry, didn't get a picture).
Then the next morning I spent bout 30 mins banging a thick azz layer of ice off my car with a cleat. Panda has posted pics of said icestorm.
I gotta go take manies from drunken tourists & such, so I'm just going to call this Part I. I'll update thread title as new parts are posted.
