Abe srsly you can't figure out what a dog or cat you know is getting at then they make certain sounds? I have a fairly extensive vocabulary with my cats. My favorite is a trilling coo that the kittens do when they want me to throw a ball for them so they can play fetch. It never fails to make me smile, and almost never fails to make me pop up and throw their toys for a while as well obv.

Well I can't say I am familiar with this human-cat/dog communication. Maybe its just because I haven't had a pet in forever. I can speak to snakes though.
