Once I got away from the situation I realized how dumb I was to be in that situation to begin with, and realized how truly lucky I was. I came to Vegas in February, met my gf in April, and we've spent virtually every day together since, and it's been completely amazing and made me feel even stupider for putting up with all the bs from my ex.

Yeah, but it's all about timing. The timing was right with GF... who knows what would have happened if things with your wife played out differently?

I just did that with 2+2. It's daunting at first but the anxiety subsides after a while.
