High estrogen levels can cause hypothyroidism, so my being on birthcontrol since I was 19 might have something to do with it.
That or it's autoimmune. My mom had an autoimmune disease so there's a chance I could have some of those issues.

Probably the chemicals in the food/water we eat/drink, tho.
