But, since you want the dog and probably won't listen:
It doesn't matter if it's "akc" registered. Literally, almost any dog can be akc registered. Ask to see the puppies parents, don't buy any dog when you can't evaluate where it came from. Look into the puppies demeanor and assess if it's a "good dog," there are many sites out there that give advice on picking out a good personality.
It shouldn't be about costs and looks, but more about thinking of health issues and demeanor issues.

hey, the nothing, have you had your thyroid levels checked recently? jw cause it's a pretty significant portion of the population (especially women who have given birth) who have hypothyroid issues. It can cause fatigue and depression. Just a thought.

I always wanted a small dog, and it was really a shock to me when my bf changed his story when we got to his house and said it was my dog. I thought we were going to train this puppy together, but he was going to live at my bf house and be more of a little brother to his boxer. I still had the intention of getting a small dog when we bought the husky.
