not taking the points just leaves momentum up in the air imo in this game with the Ds stepping up more, i would have taken the field goal imo

momentum means nothing. im not sure what the exact numbers are, but if they can score that TD more then 50% of the time they have to take it. at 50% thats 3.5 expected points vs 3 from a field goal

theyre more likely at least 60% there to score which gives them 4.2 expected points
