Also, I don't plan on winning ldo. It just chaps my ass that Ben Chandler is one of the most conservative Democrats in Congress, and he wins renomination every cycle because he runs unopposed. I think that SOMEONE needs to run against him, and if no one else will do it, then it'd be hypocritical of me not to. I'd follow him around with a bullhorn yelling "Why did you vote against[list of big Democratic legislation that he always votes against]?" until they put me in the paper and on the news. Kentuckians love a campaign like that.
(Here's a recent one.) They never win. They never even get close to winning. But even token opposition can force the other guy to have to defend his voting record. That's all I'd want.
