yea it's illegal to destroy US currency but he did it anyway. he was on the colbert report and they addressed this issue but i don't remember what he said. also the costs of melting them down and selling them didn't cut into the profits too much and he ended up making a pretty penny iirc

It wasn't really that bad, we were just super poor and lived in a horrible part of the city and I had a babysitter who was worse than Hitler because my parents were working 24/7.
huh, so i guess that is his whole plan after all. oh and im sure no one cares but lewis (and im sure he was oversimplfying for his readers) but bass would actually be long the underlying and short the nickel "contract" or gov't fiat that a nickel is worth 5c iirc
