After mentioning smashing my laptop in the chat thread, I went back to this to see if I had mentioned it before... glad to see I did 
Anywyas, didn't realize I missed q's.
10 years from now, I'll will be pretty wealthy if all goes according to plan. I doubt I'll be playing much, and more focusued on real estate and other investments. Hopefully happily married with a kid or 2.
I don't think I've found the place I want to live just yet, but canada seems like a great choice to raise kids. I don't think I'd ever want to raise my children in Korea.
Sobraoboy is a beast. It was a great accomplishment, but I know he pissed off a lot people while doing it. I didnt play much with him, but I know all the regs hated him for slowing down the games so much. Anyways, I hope to do the same this year, without all the annoyances

story time, gather round children.
sunday was a very interesting day for the main man
so theres this place in vancouver called 'the amsterdam cafe'
my buddy wanted to check it out i'm ofc i'm down. true to the name, you walk in and the overwelming smell of skunk hits you like a brick wall. people are just rollin joints and hittin bongs inside. all very open like. remember this is muthafckin vancouver here. ive never been to anyplace like this but whatever its all pretty awesome.
the place is rammed, and there are no seats, so we saddle up next to a couple fatties. we smoke some of their weed and shoot the sheeit. fatty #1 wants my junk soemthing feirce and offers to show me around the city bc im new or whatever. at this point i'm pretty gone, and want no peice of fatty, so i lie and say i'm goin outside for a smoke. lol. seriously, that was my out. in this place of all places.
my buddy knows whats up and we bounce. but he wants to scope out the place right beside it in the pic. 'BC marijuana party' or something. place is pretty standard smoke shop, but has some tables and people are smoking.
we keep poking around and see this small area in the back. its behind a curtain that is like half open so we're not sure if its like an off limits area or whatever. we duck in anyways and there is this white rasta guy chillin with his feet up. dude is stoned as *** and welcomes us to his 'shamen shop'. for anyone who doesnt know a shamen is 'an intermediary between the human and spirit world'.
dude asks us what brings us in. we say were just blazing next door and just browsing. he asks 'if there is anything that ails us' or if he can help in anyway. were like... uh, wat? how?
he shows us this little cabiment and inside are tonnes of different 'herbal remidies'. things like salvia, differnet types of mushrooms, seeds, etc. he assures us everything is totally legal, and everything has it own effects and even has printouts with info on everything. so he takes like 15mins explaining what everything does.
ok, this day just took an interesting turn.
we settle on hawaiian baby woodrose. its a small pack of 5 seeds for $9. They contain LSA(related to lsd) which is 'a potent euphoriant, hallucinogen and stimulant'. So we grab our stuff, thank the dude and roll out. my buddy just pops all the seeds, says they taste like craap but chokes them down. the shamen had told us to peel the outer layer away because it can make you sick, but my buddy ignores this obv. i berate him, peel my seeds and pop them. (this is like 8pm i guess)
no surprise, in like 30mins my buddy says he feels like death. we head back to his place and he pukes like a champ. afterwards he says he feels great, we call up some hippie girlfriends we have and have a little party. by like 10pm we are both feeling awesome. i felt so happy, was seeing rainbows and bunny and shiet. was awesome.
the girls leave around 12pm and my buddy gets sick again. this time it was too much for me. hearing him yak was terrible. i cant hold back anymore. i rush in the bath room after him and puke more than i ever have. i just couldnt stop. but im still smiling and happy which was weird.
eventually he passes out, but i cant sleepp bc the ****** rainbows are so goddamn bright.
about 1hr later of lying there i turn on my side and everything changes. i have this impending sense of doom. i feel deathly sick instantly. i run to washroom and have a painful puke. i didnt beleive there was anything left in me but there it was.
i head back to bed, and the rainbows are gone. but i still feel terrible. about another hour passes before the sickness returns. i go to washroom and like cant puke. im in the fetal positon and pretty sure im going to die. i try to puke but cant. dry heaves. it was the worst ive ever felt in my life. i promise myself i will never take seeds from a shamen again.
eventually i puke a bunch of gross stuff. and instantly feel better. i head to bed and crash pretty quickly. we wake up in a few hours (he has to work) and i feel horrible. like a million times worse than a hangover. i laid in bed all day monday. so bad.
so yeah that was my sunday. moral of the story -- next time get salvia.

re-read my well for some nostalgia
some notes:
-
this was actually a lie, all were asian. last one was indian
-i met slammedfire last month for the first time (he was berating me at the beginning of the well) he was super nice and fun to hang out with. go figure.
-never bought that house. lost over six figures in the market crash a over a year ago.
-crushed my 'biggest pot' (which was $1500) with an $11k pot I lost earlier this year.
Anyways, I'm still in vancouver.... nothing much new honestly. Still playing the same stakes, just on some different sites. Its much more anonymously now, which I love.
And just for the hell of it I'll tell another funny story. I just remembered it today when I was talking to my korean language tutor.
I had been in korea for about 3months, and was just now getting into the dating scene.
I met this girl online (dating site), and took her out drinking. We met up and got along really well. She was decent looking, but had a banging body. Oh shiet, I actually have a pic. (I hope this is appreciated as I had to dig out my old external HDD)
Body not as banging as I remember but whatever. She had a sweet ass which is rare for a korean girl. Don't ask whats on her head, idk.
SIDENOTE:
While I'm in this folder (not so subtly named 'notches') I have a pic of the g/f from my poker story that flew me out to LA and LAS and indirectly got me into gambling.
ANyhow, back to the story.
So we go out drinking, have a good time and I end up taking her home that night and laying some pipe. It was pretty good except I was kind of shocked at the bush, which I would later learn was standard for korean girls.
SHe stays the night which sucked for obvious reasons. We get up the next morning and head out for coffee/brunch.
Its saturday and the place is really busy but we find a small table and sit down. We eat and talk and her english is pretty bad. I understood her a lot better when we were drunk.
So eventually she asks me something I understand. SHe says something like "do you think you can be my boyfriend?".
So obviously I'm not going to commit to anything and I say (verbatim) "Well, I don't know. Maybe one day."
SHE FREAKS.
Stands up, picks up a small glass of water she had there and throws the contents at me across the table. It wasnt that much left but im a little wet and a lot in shock.
She starts yelling stuff like 'im not that girl', 'not like that', 'not one day', and some other stuff I cant understand in korean.
At this point everyone is staring at us in the place, and I am super villian being a white guy who just upset a poor korean girl. I'm just sitting there stuned, taking the abuse, trying to make sense of what just happened.
I put the pieces together pretty quickly. I said 'maybe one day', which she interpreted as "just for one day/night". I should've said 'maybe some day', I guess.
I'm like no no no, sit down, you dont understand, etc, but shes not having it. I swear to god she winds up to hit me, but she holds back, lets out this grunt/muffled scream under her breath and storms out, leaving me behind.
I'm super embarrassed at this point and take a walk of shame out with everyone in the place shooting me dirty looks, and a couple dudes swore at me.
Pretty awesome looking back. She ended up being crazy and texted me like 100x a day. Ended up hitting it one more time and quittin it.

I'm not really playing much on the major sites. There's only a small group of people who know my active SNs now and I really like it that way.
It's not like I'm killing the games, but I'm still up a good amount this year -- so no, not struggling at all. I make way more than I need and still have a nice nest egg I'm sitting on should I ever decide to give this up.
My girlfriend's family also have quite a bit of money if I ever fell flat, I'd have a decent safety net
