Overfolding to 3 bets vs average players

Many players are only 3 betting like JJ plus ak

So i should overfold as they say right?

Maybe only reraise with ak , KK and AA in most situations.
Call QQ,

etc right?

Thoughts on this stuff?

Re: Overfolding to 3 bets vs average players

Not necessarily overfold. I'd certainly be 4-betting less than against an opponent with a wide 3-betting range.

However, if you are deep stacked and you know villain's range is defined to super-premium hands only, as long as villain's 3! size isn't stupidly large, you should be calling with quite a lot of speculative hands in position that can hit big and stack villain. Players who won't 3-bet anything other than AK and big pairs also tend to overfold AK when they miss, and HATE folding big pairs regardless of the board run-out.

I agree ^^. These players are playing fairly face up so you should be able to navigate easier post-flop.

Re: Overfolding to 3 bets vs average players

Assuming stacks are deep enough v this player type, I’m basically set mining like crazy. Unless they’re the type to make “disciplined folds” as well, then I might peel more of my 98s type hands and go postal on T73.
