Anyone ITT have any good New Years resolutions they're making? Looking for a few more for myself.

I'm still torn right now if it will be to stay away from Plo or to just run better. I think the games are too soft to stay away but looking at the disparity between Plo and nl hourly makes my stomach queesy. I think I will just punish myself and play in casinos that don't run Plo as much. That and to play more tag nl. I think I do this every year but by the end its like entropy and I'm taking the highest variance route at every spot. Oh and wish me luck in ff got hill vs sanders and green up by about 17.

After reading that thread from the shot taking poster, I got an idea. I think it would be neat to have a "run it up" challenge where you start at 1/2 and see how far you can run it in a single session.

I think I'll try at least once a month, with the only stipulation being you must hit 100bbs for the next stake jump. Meaning starting at 1/2 you must run it up to $500 before going to 2/5, and from there $1K before going to 5/10. (Having a lucky short stack run starting at 5/10 doesnt seem as glamorous)

I think the biggest hurdle for most posters here would be starting at 1/2 and not wanting to commit suicide after 10 minutes LOL

This is so weird I was just talking to my housemate about trying this. Wanted to try and get to T/25 starting at 1/2.

Now I kinda wanna do a propbet/challenge. Take a 1/2 br and turn it into 5/10 br in 6 months or something. I don't know what will be harder; staying disciplined enough to play the game for my br or to find someone to bet against me

No, that longboard is for kids only. I ride shorter, higher performance boards than I ever have. If the waves are too small for a 6'2" I just don't go out.

Good news is there seems to be a new antibiotic identified - texiobactin - that may solve for a while resistant strep and staph resistance (assuming the premilinary results prove out). Bad news would be if it costs 10K per course of therapy once marketed

Such an amazing car. I love it so much and there is a software update so a bunch of the autopilot features are being rolled out the next few days. It is very cool that I have a 10 day old car and it is already improving significantly. My wife won't drive it, she is correctly terrified. It is a pretty complex beast (more on this later) and she most likely won't ever feel comfortable behind the wheel of something that costs this much.

Yes, Junior came out of Oceanside high the same year as me. I never played football against him but did have a summer league basketball game with him. He was very good at basketball too was just so strong he dominated (shocker). He used to come in to Frogs and work out often but I was too shy to approach him. Other celebs in the gym include Pat Ewing from time to time and Andre Reed I see several days a week (he mostly sits around playing on Facebook since he has the perfect physique anyway).

Frogs is under new owners and now called Fit. The changes are decent although they still haven't done the locker rooms. I kinda miss the old equipment as a lot of the new stuff is more machine based. There are some flat screen TVs and a huge white wall with projection TVs. Cool to watch some games while working out but during the day (when I am there) the lighting isn't great.

Uh, Staph infection is hardly news worthy. That's like "Did you hear about this dude playing LHE who lost with AA?"

Outta it now & on a roll.. and gladly so. But man Nov/Dec was terrible.
