I'm a live player and have always wanted to track my hands and stats better to review my game. So I made Poker Studio for Android.

I thought that the app might be useful to some of you guys here, so I decided to make a post.

It's not a session tracker, but a statistics tracker that aggregates every hand into stats you might know from Poker Tracker or Holdem Manager. Stats are tracked and separated by every street, from preflop to river. You can also use lots of filters. And of course it saves hand histories for easy sharing on messengers/social media/forums.

With Poker Studio you can:

* Analyze statistics created directly from your own game! We have lots of statistics for you to look at and study. Live players can now finally analyze cbets, donkbets, 3bets, floats, folds etc on all streets.

*Filter through all your stats and hands. Filter for suited connectors, flush draws or multiway pots and much more. Track the game aspect that is important to you and find leaks or value spots!

* Record your poker hand in an intuitive hand replayer format (NEW!).

* Log hands in a quick and relaxing manner! We will categorize your hand, calculate pots and determine hand strength automatically for you!

* Review hand histories that we create for you. They are designed to look similar from what you see in online trackers or forum hand discussions! You can sort and filter for hand histories to easily retrieve them for later review.

* Share your hand histories directly from the app. Send it via messengers or post it on social media!!

If you're sitting there recording/entering in your phone every action/hand you can get the **** off the table

No, the app is only for recording hands to you VPIP'd in.
And only the hands that you want. Say you're interested in how to play suited connectors, you can just record suited connectors.

The app then shows you all stats on suited connectors, so you can track how you fare with 3bets, calls, cbets, flush draws, middle pairs etc.

I specifically didn't make stats for VPIP/PFR or stats for opponents, as that would not make sense for live poker. I even have a pop-up message that warns people from recording hands where they open folded lol, and telling them that there is no point doing it.

Like I said, I'm a live player myself. So I tried to find a balance, that you only need to enter the hands important to you.. Like 5-10 hands an hour. All depends on the player.

Stat tracking for live poker would be about the worse thing that could happen for the game.

I think if you can move towards a technology where these things are recorded for you somehow, it could get big. Manually entering this is not much fun.


I see a distant future where such an app is bought by the casino. Every table has a board cam and action cam. These cameras talk directly to the app and record all stats for each player at the table. Players can then buy their stats from the casino.
