5/10 game, 9 handed , stack 1300

UTG +2 opens for 30, I 3b to 95 from CO w/ KcKs, heads up to flop (~800 effective)

Flop: 6hThAc (pot: ~200)

Vil checks I c bet 200, V calls

Turn: Kc (pot:600)

V checks again. Best play here?

Why would we ever bet 400 ott? It leaves him with like $200 left OTR... He started the hand 800 effective.

Potting the flop is a big mistake. As played turn is an easy jam. I'd bet flop 1/3 pot or check.

On flop we are representing AK or nothing ..so potting is good. We block AK and Kx..so no way for him to k ow we don't have AK.

On turn, AK is less likely because of card removal. So i like a check behind on turn.

As long as you know some poker logic, you can justify any move yo.

3 bet Larger pre ($105-115 range) , on flop not necessary to pot that flop for obvious reasons... betting 1/3 to 1/2 pot would have been fine or checking back the flop dependent upon villians image (which is not defined in OP), as played Shove turn

Betting whole range on flop sounds reasonable, but if we weren't going to do that, this is a fine hand to drop. Potting is a bad sizing though.

Pre: 3-bet size is fine but I would probably go bigger. Something like $105.

Flop: You shouldn't be betting this flop. Checking back is superior. Would probably balance this play with most of my wheel aces.

Turn: As played, it's just a jam.
