Ok so it's getting late lots of action from everyone, even the Nits are getting loose. Lots of sub par garbage getting to showdown. This pot is with a really tight Nit, maybe playing 10 percent of the hands.

V1 Middle 3 (~3600)
V2 HJ (~2000)
Hero Button (~5500)

I Look down at 910

V1 Opens to $20
V2 Calls
Hero Calls and the small blind Makes it $100 to see the flop.
Everyone calls..Off to see a flop.

($400)
910A

V1 Checks
V2 Bets $50
Hero Raises to $200
V1 Check raises to $600
V2 Folds
Hero Calls.

($1650)
Turn 2
Now this is where I got a bit confused,
V1 Bets $100

Now Im thinking he just wants to see where Im at, but it also seems pretty weak so i dont want to run him out of the pot, so,...

Hero Raises to $300

V1 Reraises to $600

Hero Calls

($2850)
River Card is 7

V1 Checks........
What is the hero to do??

I checked also But when i showed my hand he mucked. I instantly knew I missed a bet, not sure why I didnt go for value, but i did check really quickly i didnt think much at all so it was a very rash decision. I guess he just had me so flustered that i didnt know what the hell was going on and i didnt want to face a check raise when all the draws came in..

Im looking for thoughts on the entire hand, as i clearly missed at least one bet.

after the flop action, i like the way you played turn and river. but flop raise size seems way too small, I’m going maybe $320 into that pot with this hand, sets, and some high-equity bluffs.

that accounts for your “missed bet” as pot sizes on turn is bigger, thus action and raises will be bigger. then river check behind is good; we hate betting and getting raised by hands like AQ/Ax one diamond.

Turn raise size is way too small, there are too many drawing hands that take villains line for you to let him see a river so cheaply

I don't hate going for value on river but given the strange line checkback is ok

SUPER strange hand. As played, I checkback on the river. The line is so strange that villain could certainly have A10 or A9s and it would be a shame to have to make a huge decision on the river and fold the best hand. I guess now you know V1 bigtime overplays AK-AQ, unless he had like QJ spades, and was trying to represent a huge hand and push out flush draws on the flop. Don't understand what he was doing on the turn though.

Nice pot sir.

With the limited description of villian I’m folding this on the flop. A cold c/r 3b is crazy strong coming from a nit. Yeah we block 99/TT/ATs but theres still 8 combos of those left and they are all crushing us. AA isnt inconcievable either, but obviously unlikely. The only other hand I would expect him to show up with is QJdd and maybe 78dd depending on how deep sb is. I dont expect a true nit to take this line with AJdd/AQdd/AKdd. Add to it the fact that we can have quite a few hands ourselves that are much better in this spot and I’m happily tossing this in the muck.

+1. River would have been uber thin after V CR flop, lead/3! turn and then checked the river when FD diamonds came. THink of it this way...you checked and were good so what hands could V have that he was calling you with?

call the fiest flop bet, as played fold flop to the nit who check/3 bet? A9/AT/99/TT very often. Maybe AdKd.

Turn bet means he probably has a draw or he is trying to get you to spaz, or really who cares, id just call I guess, I mean, the whole point of deepstacked play is to not go nuts with a big non massive hand like top 2. youre 700 BBs deep, the pot is 300 BBs deep and what river card makes you particularly happy to get all in? T, sure, 9 gives one more combo that beats you At this point im re evaluating my read i had OTF that his hand is near guaranteed made, and im just calling, and I guess I would call a river bet blanked.

But I mean, in a world where your flop call is justified, its because he has a decent number of semibluffs in his range, and his semibluffs just blanked and he bet super small, so I guess IF the flop call was justified, I would raise to $1300 or so. Clicking it back was literally the stupidest thing you couldve done, you gave him easy odds to call if he is drawing, and let him repop you with his made hands.
