Live 5/5 game

Game is playing loose with lots of rec players.

Hero - BB - $1400 - I have no history w anyone
V - MP - $520~ - fishy based on recent hands
MP2 - $1500 - Rec player, passive, abc type

V raises in MP to $20 . MP2 calls. SB calls. I call in BB with 6d 8d.

Flop: 8s 8c 5s
I check, V bets 75, Mp2 snap raises to 150, hero calls.

- should hero ever click it back here? I'm not worried about balance here at all since this is live and I've never played with anyone here before.

Turn: 7c

Hero should bet or check/call/raise?

Thx

Did V call the flop raise as well?
MP2 certainly has 55 and A8s 78s 98s T8s (1 combo each left)
I expect a rec to raise 99+ occasionally, but not expecting him to minraise flop with 76 or a FD.
Can't see us 3betting flop then bet turn and ship river without overplaying our hand so I like a call, lead turn lead river trying to keep overpairs in the hand.
Probably folding to a turn raise given assumed ranges.

If we decide to small 3b flop to 350, bet turn 400 and shut down river hoping to go to SD (no room for b/f)

i dont like clicking it back because without an iota of info on villain, you make it very easy for him to just shrug fold over pairs as from his POV, random opponents are not likely to have a 3bet range w/o an 8 or better here in what is effectively 100BB pot.

without info on villain i dont know whats better on the turn - it depends on how he perceives your actions. some folks think any check is open season to blast some folks station. As a default i bet just because i want to see how folks react on baords like this which will start to let me know how loose I can play in situations like this in the future. Some opponents just roll over 100%, some get sticky - its nice to have the 8 and see how they play.

I will add I feel like im noticing a general population trend to have gotten more agrressive in spots like this which means I'm probably going to start checking calling/shoving (if i think im getting called) a little more in spots like this. But verdict is still out - hence my above reply for firing.

I think turn is close between x/c and b/f, not crazy about the cr since I think villain has too many value hands that beat us

Minraise should be a lot of small pairs or nutted and x/c tends to get max vs the overpairs, especially when checked through turn and it can bluffcatch river
