5/10, V1 young agg pro can 3b light, V2 rec player with vpip around 99.9. Eff stacks 2k.

V2 in BB, Hero has AQss raises to 40 from EP. V1 on direct left makes it 140, V2 cold-calls, Hero calls.

Flop 420: K84ss
Check, check, V1 260, fold, hero calls.

Turn 940: 9o
Check, 540, hero?

VPIP 99.9 OK! I know that kind of player.

1) Raise higher pre

2) Calling V1 is fine here for pot control.

3) Flop is fine.

4) Fold Turn.

Ugh! I think we need to fold this turn OOP. What's the plan once we hit spades? Bet big, check to have him check back, etc.

As played, just shove the turn unless the guy is a station or your image is terrible. (Or if his turn betting range is exactly KK.)

Why are we shoving turn???

Seems spewy to me if this is the default line. What are we repping? 88, 44 maybe...

We also have someone behind us.

We rep nothing but spades by shoving turn.

If you do that, just C/RAI flop.

As played, fold turn.

Id take that line with a set of 8s or 4s.

Agree w previous post, of we play for stacks, its on the flop. Turn is a fold.

I understand we want the fun player in pre, but with V1 as described im 4betting.

I don't mind 4bet/fold pre. It puts V1 in a really tough spot and it's for value vs V2.

As played flop is good, turn is bleh. If we jam turn it's only ~1060 more to villain to win something like ~4k. I just fold turn.
