1/2 nine handed game. I am UTG while a new player, the villain, is UTG+1. He is coming in for raises with most hands preflop and taking it down post. Been at the table around 15mins. Appears to be more of a rec player than a reg.

I limp JT, villain raises to 12, BB calls, I call

Flop (37) Q62
Checks to villain who bets 30, BB folds, I call

Turn (97) 8
Villain bets, 30, I call

Thoughts on all streets?

We need stack size to know if flop call can be +EV.

You may catch flack for the open limp/call but at soft/passive tables it's fine (if you are deep enough).

Flop depends on IO as we will often face another bet ott.

Turn vs that lol sizing AND if we are deep enough, I would be semi bluffing a ton.

Eff stacks?

Preflop what are stack sizes? A lot of play here depends on it.

Preflop limping JTs in EP is generally bad. If the table is particularly passive then it could be OK. Once raised you need to be pretty deep to play OOP without more villains in the hand. On the flop villain bet enough that calling with just the flush draw is probably bad. On the turn he bet so small and your hand improved a little so calling then is fine.

Don't expect to be able to bluff river. Bet if you hit and give up if you don't.

JTs might be a little loose utg, but I don't hate it. What are the effective stacks? If you and villain are about even and 100bb starting the hand, c/jam turn. You should be close to 32% if villain calls... and his turn bet looks weak, so I'm not sure he can. It depends on whether or not villain ever folds.

Calling seems way too weak. Jam or fold, imo.

Calling is absolutely fine and is massively +EV. I just think semi bluffing and often picking up the pot with J high is better
