3.2kish effective

Villain is a good reg and we have a lot of history with light 4betting/5betting. We have got it in pre 250bb deep multiple times with AK, he's folded his 5bet to a 6bet jam to me etc. He can definitely get out of line and can be borderline spewy (generally only when he's drinking but tonight he's sober). Fwiw I think he misclicked his 5bet sizing and meant to make it $950.

He views me as a good reg

I open QhQs in the CO to $30, v makes it $105 from BTN, folds to me, I make it $375, he makes it $850 (meant to make it $950 I believe), I call.

Flop $1715: 9s4h3c

I check, v bets $525, I call

Turn $2865: Jc

I check, he goes all in for 1.7k-1.8k ish effective, hero?

I prefer just 6 bet shoving pre when you are OOP.

If you are going to flat a 5 bet OOP, I recommend flatting all of you continuing range.

That means you can have AA and KK here.

Which means QQ can probably fold to a turn shove.

If you don't have AA as a flat, then I would call with QQ some times.

I put these ranges in Pio

OOP : QQ+, Ak, JJ:50%
IP : KK+, AKs, QQ:50%, AKo:50%, A5s-A2s :25%

Pio recommends raising 35% of your range and calling 24%, folding the rest on flop.

I think this is because his suited wheel aces have a lot of equity on this flop.

I personally would just c/r against the described opponent.

Also when you respond with a c/r only, you get to play tighter.
You can now fold 51% of your range versus 40% fold to cbet when you responded with flat calls.

Funny enough, if he knows you only respond as a c/r or fold, his cbet % goes down from 85% to 70% on the flop. He doesn't want to get c/r when he has Ah 2h.

I dunno what all history postflop you guys have together, but in a vacuum that flop bet sizing sure looks like he wants action. If both players can be light in this spot it's usually not a good idea to bluff with a sizing which both looks weak and also sets up your opponent perfectly to go all-in. I think that makes calling the worst option -- if your opponent can be bluffing here then I'd shove and hope he shrug-calls with AK or whatever after he "induced" you to spaz. Your hand is too vulnerable and the pot too big to let two more cards roll off and then guess at whether to call off the rest.

Yeah this thread tells me I am too old to play 5/10....

flop bet sizing is standard. Really depends on villain aggression tendencies. Would likely call this combo and fold QcQx

CO vs BTN spot - pretty gross.

I think we are a little too deep to be dumping it off here. I probably fold to the 5bet or just flat the 3bet - I think those are both better than calling the 5bet.

As played you can't really ask for a much better flop and turn. I guess you are hoping he is spazzing with a hand like Ax but I don't see people do that often at 5/10. Generally people don't get too out of line - so this feels like we are beat.
