Live 5/10, we agreed to do a round of straddles.

Loose rec player in seat 6, middle aged white guy, plays 50/35 , saw him generally overvalue med strength hands, but no real history with him or saw him get too out of line.

Seat 6 with 4K , Hero 3.5k stack

Straddle , s6 opens $60 in MP... reg calls from button, I 3 bet Kc Qc from BB to $240.

S6 thinks and calls. Heads up.

Flop: 10c 6c 4d

Hero bet $260. S5 thinks and raises to $760.

1. Preflop, 3b good or flat?
2. On Flop check/call better or bet $200+call?
3. As played, call/fold/jam?

1. 3b is fine, but your sizing is too small for oop.

2. I think this is a bet. There are a ton of good turn cards and you can comfortably do three streets on a lot of runouts.

3. I guess just call now, maybe with the intention of donk jamming any non-club A or J ott, and check/jamming if you flush up or hit top pair.

I don't mind the 3bet pre but I'd just end up calling a lot given S6 is a spot. If s6 was a reg I'd like the 3bet a lot more.

As a general thing I'd size a bit bigger pre with the 3bet but it's not really that huge of a deal.

Flop is interesting... MP should have 44, 66, TT in his range (44/66 "should" be a fold but no live player is folding it here ime) whereas we don't, and also this texture changes a lot, which favours the IP player. So I imagine we should be doing a lot of checking oop in this spot. That being said, we definitely want a betting range as well and this hand makes a tonne of sense to include in that betting range some of the time/if not the majority of the time. As played I'd call.

Flop size is fine and standard. 3b standard as well
Vs the raise is pretty silly but folding is out so..
