So I found this new game and its kind of different than normal holdem.

Instead of no antes they have a 20 ante every hand.

Does someone has experience with this or have some good strategies to go with ?

PS. The players are kind of weak tight and crazy players mixed.

There is a straddle as well of 20 and minimum is 1000.

Playing shortstack plays very bad I tried it. You get blinded off in no time since the antes are so big.

I have played 5-10 with a btn ante for $25 (uncapped buyin). There is more action as if everyone folds to btn, btn would like to open every single hand, and a 3bet from blinds would be normal.

There are more dead money in the middle, preflop open size goes up from $30/$35 to $50.

It would def. change preflop action, post-flop would be adjusting from pre accordingly.
