Interesting. Makes sense
So we know our our opponent overfolds to 3bets thereby were polarizing, what do we do our mid-range as in how do we not get exploited by playing a capped range pre-flop? I.E. someone opens from mp and we call with the middle of our range OTB, then someone from sb or bb has a squeeze opportunity vs our capped range ( although MP is not capped)
To take a simple example; we have an opponent that opens from mp (full ring game live), we have kjs otb. This would not qualify as a linear 3 bet, nor a polarized 3 bet, but if we flat were subject to a sb or bb squeeze and we end up having to play a capped range against a squeezer that knows were capped...that seems like a problem. I'm playing lower stakes, but even at low stakes a decent player would know your capped here.
