This is a live 2/5 game. Villain is probably one of the best regs at my local casino and jumps in 5/10 and 10/20 when it runs. He is one of the few people I could imagine making a big move and he has talked about making a move all day after his very long 12-16hr session. I am the effective stack with ~1250 to start. My image is aggro as I've been constantly 3betting all night to iso a few fish at the table. Villain saw me make a hero fold with a straight earlier in the session and also 3bet my cbet in a 3-handed hand with a bdfd on a paired board earlier.

Villain UTG+1 raises to 20, 3 callers and I complete in BB with K9cc.

(Pot is 100) Flop is QJ5cc (Qc/5c). I check to villain who c-bets 70, MP calls, I raise to 275. Villain tanks and puts in a bet for 825, MP folds and I tank shove for 2220 total, he snaps.

Villain almost certainly has JJ/QQ when he 3bets me on the flop, but if there is any villain I give credit for having some bluffs here it's him, especially as I have been very aggro. I block AKcc/KT/T9, so the only bluffs possible would be a BIG stretch and would probably be AK with the Ac or possibly T9ss with a OESD/BDFD? (both at a low freq probably).

On the flop I'm getting 30% to call with 33% equity in the hand vs QQ/JJ and ~24% of making my hand on the turn. I do not have the pot odds to call without my implied odds. If I make my hand on the turn I do not think villain will shut down so I will get paid the extra 1400.
If I were to call the flop and miss then turn without pairing the board, I would have 23% equity but need 30% to call (1400/4800). I do not want to call fold turn for such a massive pot or possibly have it go x/x and be put in a strange spot on the river if I brick (seeing as I block most of his bluffs that would fold if I shoved). However I wasn't sure how much fold equity I had here by shoving, probably very little, but it did allow me to realize all of my equity. He could perhaps hero fold JJ but that is doubtful (or 55 if he has it which is doubtful).

Looking back on it, I think that if I do this with K9cc then I do this with too many hands (KTcc, T9cc, and ATcc would make better shoves than K9). imo shoving was probably not the best option.

All thoughts welcome

Thoughts - getting in 450bb with 2nd nfd+ gutter you're gonna have a bad time. Even with this pretty nice looking draw I think Id just be flatting flop since he has a huge range advantage / wanting to avoid exactly what happened. FWIW I'm a nit and like to play postlop and just get in clear value bets more than gambling on draws, but if you're rolled to the tits and don't tilt when you lose 800bb pots go for it.

I don't think V would have any folding equity after flop 3 betting, even there might be 1.4k behind. So I don't think 4 bet shoving is good.

I believe V would have AJcc/ATcc/JTcc in his range too, I don't mind raising flop, but probably have to lay it down to the 3 betting.

Yeah everything about this is lighting money on fire. Both your straight and flush draws are so often dominated. Just call the flop.

Had positions been reversed this might be a candidate for cr, but as played vills ep raise and lead multi way is pretty strong. Realisticly his range should be kq+, and possibly not even 910. Since you have the 9c the only combo draw he has is A10 which crushes you, plus he should have all sets and qj. Also are u 1250 effective or 2200? Hopefully not the later.

With another player already calling this should make vill much less likely to bet turn without being in the top part of his already strong range.

Oops also throw is J10 and AJcc which also have you in bad shape.
