So, I've progressed through the ranks in poker and now I'm up to 10/25 where the really really good players live.
Consider me better than 5/10 crowd and probably -ev in this game but there is room for improvement.
Villain is one of the handful of best players in the room, definitely top 4 and arguably higher. He's ultra aggressive pre flop and will put a ton of pressure on you with 3bets and 4bets. consider him the loosest player among the small group of serious pro's that rule this room.
that being said he does like flops and will sometimes just flat call with monsters and isn't afraid of offbeat hands
Two hands from the session:
I have about 8k and cover villain, he opens MP I 3bet button with A9o, he flats, flop is 983, he checks, I bet, he calls, turn 6, check check, river 8, he bets, I call and MHIG vs AJo
hand 2:
there is a raise and a call in MP, the BTN, another high stakes fixture in the room, raises to 250, villain 3bets out of the small to 700, BTN back raises to 1500 and villain shoves, BTN calls and stacks get in for about 220 BBs
AQo vs TT
The hand
Villain has me covered I have around 6300
Villain opens HJ to 75, Hero 3bets to 225 with A
Q
Villain 675
