Hero 2.5k. Villain 1, fishy loose player 2k. Villain 2 aggressive reg, covers.

6 handed. 10/20. Villain 1 limps. Villain 2 140 in CO. Hero calls in BB A❤Q❤. Villain 1 calls.
Here my read is that villain is not fishy enough to call 3 bet with any two.

Flop (430)
A♠q♠8♦
Hero leads 300. Comments on this play?

Depends on villains cbet tendencies on this board but in general I think this is a decent spot/hand to do it with.

What bluffs are you leading with

I think I would be very unbalanced here and lead with mainly value. The reason is that I want to exploit the weak player. I think villain only cbets strong Ax and we block this. We want to build pot to try and stack the weak player if he has an Ax.

What 10/20 game in this country has regs that limp and / or 7x pre 6 handed?

If you think he's checking his air/gutters behind then leading is fine imo.

Haaa! I'm afraid I will remain anonymous

I would say that the limp was from a rec weak player (as I included in the post). 7x vs a limp range that is only ever going to limp/call rather than limp/raise isn't that ridiculous.

There's nothing wrong w 7xing pre if ppl are going to call it. It's actually quite a routine exploit when ppl limp and then they take said weak range and will call almost any size

But no you shouldn't lead on this flop.

What range of hands would you want to lead here? I don't think it makes much sense. If fishy player were IP on the reg, I'd like it a lot more as you can lead weaker SDV hands and force reg to play somewhat face up vs you.

If villain is taking this preflop line with a wide range, I would just 3bet and take it from there. I don't think he needs to be 'fishy enough to call 3 bet with any two' for it to be more profitable than calling (assuming fishy loose player isn't completely horrible post flop).

donk top 2 otf makes your checking range pretty vulnerable.

AQs should be 3betting CO raise pre most of the time

I don't mind flatting preflop. It gives you a better opportunity to draw in what you probably consider dead money from the fish.

OTF, I am probably checking all day against an aggressive opponent who is likely to cbet on this flop. A determining factor for me would be how often I donk bet in similar situations with top 2pr/sets. Another factor would be the likelihood of the PFR to go over the top. I would have to evaluate that and determine if I was prepared to get stacks in OTF.
