Is there a way to use PT3 or tabletracker to search to see if a certain fish is playing? Some of my favorite players must have turned off the search for me option on pokerstars and I have to resort to clicking table after table looking to see if they are playing

I suspect that if a player is hidden in Stars then it's possible they won't show up in TableTracker but I don't know for sure - I'll try to find out for you.

Do you actually see any of these players in TT searches?
If so you can add them as a Buddy by right clicking them in the lower report.

I've had it confirmed that it a player disabled their search via the PokerStars client then they will still be shown in TableTracker.
However if they opted out of TT then they won't.

I'm going to piggyback on this question...

Every so often I ask about TT not including my stats in the averages for a table because it skews the results. Last time (~a few weeks ago), I was told that it's considered a bug and will eventually be fixed but that there wasn't a timeline for it.

If I opt myself out of TT, would that work as a temporary workaround? Could I opt myself back in once it gets fixed to how it should be?

I'm not certain exactly how that works, but I'll ask and see what I can find out and let you know.

Leroy: Yes, opting out would remove you from the scoring and table averages both until the bug is closed.

Lol why would a player hiding from Stars search make them unsearchable on tabletracker? They are still at the table and will be monitored by the tracker. It doesn't make them invisible... Think about it.

Prince,

There's a separate opt out for TableTracker and that's what this thread is talking about - if you opt out of TT, then you won't be seen in TT searches.

LOL indeed.

Reading comprehension FTW.

Edit: Re-reading the thread, it occurs to me that maybe you were directing your post at OP. Meh... I'm funny though, so I'm gonna leave it.

IBTL.
