PT3 Report to Full Tilt Notes Convertor PT3 Report to Full Tilt Notes Convertor

01-25-2010 , 02:36 PM
With the launch of Rush I hacked up a quick converter to allow me to export stats from PT3 and import them into Full Tilt Notes.

I want to share that with all of you guys now.

There are three rules:
1) You must back up your Full Tilt Notes. Please be careful.
2) This is unofficial and unsupported software. (Our efforts are focused on real solutions.)
3) You must back up your Full Tilt Notes file! Please be careful.

The source is included and it was written in C# (3.5SP1). If anyone makes improvements or additions I will rehost them.

It works, thx Mike.

Thanks appreciate you sharing. Do you think you could add a few more stats such as number of hands, attempt to steal and 3bet?

I made it to step 7, but now I have some questions:

does "load up full tilt notes" mean open the .xml file in explorer?

I don't understand step 8--"8. Give it the path to the report file and the path to a *writeable* directory (NOT Program Files!)"

could you explain that?

thanks

Just add them to the report. That's the beauty of PT3.

Here's the easiest way:
1) Copy the line you put in Input CSV File (Ex: C:\Temp\Report.csv)
2) Remove the filename and make it ftpname.xml (Ex: C:\Temp\tarix.xml)
3) When you export the notes file will appear in the same directory as the report
4) Backup your existing FTP notes (usually in C:\Program Files\Full Tilt Poker\)
5) Copy the exported file to your FTP directory

Does that make more sense?

Does it import the manually written Notes? (and append the stats from pt3)

No, unfortunately it doesn't. Luckily this method will be obsolete soon.

I'm still not quite following... how do you "load up full tilt notes?" Could you run through steps 7 through 9? Because I don't see the "label stats" checkbox either.

thanks

I assume 7 means to run the application that you downloaded..

Step 7 is to run the application that is on the website for download. That program converts the PT3 report to the notes file.

Steps 8 and 9 refer to dialogs in the program that you run in step 7.

Great! I wrote those instructions in about 2 minutes for a coworker so they are pretty poor. I apologize!

I hope I dont have to make a new cashgame HUD....

release it, I wanna play

Your existing HUD should work fine.

The Rush HUD is now in Beta. Please consider my converter obsolete.

thx Mike!

little note: I had to delete the filter "minimum 1 hand" to make the updating of stats work!

Go and get Beta 30.2. Rush HUD is WAAAAY better than stats in notes!
01-31-2010 , 05:56 AM
That was during using 30.2
01-31-2010 , 07:18 AM
Oh, I see what you mean. We'll make a bug for it.

Can you explain what you mean by this, please?

The rush hud only updated when i put it to zero, but now it updates correct even with min 10 hands filter...

so nevermind, it works...

sometimes I have to sitout and rejoin to make the HUD updating itself....
dont now why, we ll find out in pt3 forums...

This is also the PT3 forums.

Instead of sitting out you can try minimizing and restoring too. However definitely submit a ticket.
