PT3 Postgresql problems

I am running Windows 7 64 bit

When I try and install PostgreSQL for PT3 I get an error saying please use the main MSI file to install PostgreSQL.

Thenanother box pops up saying instalation has ended prematurely due to an error.

Any ideas?

You need to extract the installation files from the compressed folder they're in - drag them all to your desktop, then run the main installer and it should work properly for you.

There is no compressed folder as far as I am aware. There are 2 instalation files tho:

postgresql-8.3

postgresql-8.3-int

You want the first one - what are you opening the zip file in then?

I have no zip file its just a normal folder. Lol wish I wasnt so awful with computers
you think i should just uninstall and try again?

O now I cant open PT3 either it just says a version of pokertracker is already running

I restarted my computer everything is the same and I still cant find a zip. Have tried installing again with same thing happeining.

I have uninstalled tried the whole process again with same problems.

3.0 build 5.2

Please try installing Beta 30.8 - it should bundle and download PostgreSQL for you automatically. If you still can't get it working at that point please report your problem and we'll investigate further for you.

still no joy. I now have exact same problem as:
