Not sure if this has been answered before, I think it probably will have but I never took any notice of mac related threads, however now I am a mac user I am wondering If/When PT3 will be/is available for Mac useres

It will be available eventually, but I don't have any information about when it will become available.

There is a good tutorial on setting up PT3 and PostgreSQL on newer Macs using Parallels or VMWare Fusion though. See this post.
