I hope Cake never sells out and allows trackers. I am trialing PT3 for the use at PS, FT, and now Carbon, and I love it don't get me wrong, but I also enjoy playing on the Cake Network knowing that no one is using a HUD. There needs to be a place to play on the internet where you can escape the HUD/tracking players, and I hope Cake stays that way forever.

Its nice to keep that "edge" against the competition, but it is getting awfully expensive to maintain that "edge" (I use quotes because using tracking/HUD does not give you an edge anymore since everyone has one. They just keep you at the same level as the rest of the competition) imo.
The only site I know that does not allow HUDs and trackers and they are impossible to use is TruePoker.

Hello, is there any update on this?

All I want to do is be able to track my SNG play at Carbon Poker? I've been trying for so long but can not figure it out. I would appreciate any help so much! Thank you!

PT3 does not yet support Carbon, though it is on our list to add support for. I do not know when support will be added, however.

Not yet I'm afraid.

Im new at 2+2 so i dont know all the lingo but are you saying you have a converter for PT3 on the Merge network. If so I'm slightly confused b/c I have
PT3 that i use for Cake and it doesnt show the Merge network on there, so how can I convert anything if I cant use it on that site in the first place?

Is there any other HUDs I can use at Merge? Ive always played on Sportsbook and at Cake so I'm not too familiar with them or know if I even need one.

You likely are running an older version of PT3. In order to have Merge support you'll need to upgrade to our latest beta: 3.07.1, available on our download page. Once you've upgraded you'll see Merge on the site list, just like Cake.

I believe the HUD should be working fine at Merge, and it should turn on automatically once hands are importing.

I just imported my hands from 50NL HU and it shows in PT3 as regular 50NL instead of HU. Is there a fix coming for this?

You may need to enable the Adjust Qualifying Tables Limits option in Auto Import > Preferences; I'm not sure whether the Merge hand histories include the table size?

When I go to the sessions tab it shows the table as "New York (Heads Up)", so I'd think it would be a simple fix. I went ahead and switched on the Adjust Qualifying Tables Limits option, hopefully that will do the trick in the meantime.

Thanks

I cant seem to get the HUD to line up over the correct villain when I open new tables at RPM Poker. I cant remember if I had to set that up when I started on FT, but its a hassle to have to move around the HUD's everytime!

Found the option. Ignore the last post!

mgodd,

Could you attach a couple of these hand histories to a support ticket? It will streamline things for us so that we can get this fixed more quickly.

i also had to move it around manually, i think it's because i have a preferred seat and pt goes by the seats listed in the hand history.
now that i moved it around it looks ok but i still have a problem with the last hand cards - they show up not where the player is sitting now but where he is sitting according to the hand history, any fix for this?

Please see the Tutorial: Preferred Seating. Note that Merge numbers seats differently; for Merge 0 is the leftmost seat displayed and the numbers then count clockwise.

ya i am having problems with the HUD lining up as well

i think this might be the reason why i encountered another bug - when copying a hand history 2p2 style from pt3 i got a notice saying invalid position in the text copied.

We're still tracking down the invalid position errors; if you could attach any hands known to show this problem to you to a support ticket we would appreciate it.

does HEM support the merge network? was hoping to transfer to the rpm poker skin

I don't know for certain whether our competition supports Merge or not - you are probably best off asking in their thread in the Software forum.

Why would you ask this here ?

Hey guys - does anyone know if there is a guide to setting up PT3 with merge as Im struggling to get anything working with carbon poker. I've had a quick look on the website and can't see anything, infact according to the website PT3 doesn't even support merge though Im assuming this just needs to be updated!

Basicaly, I have the software launched but PT3 still says "not running" in the status bar, and no hands are imported.

Any help would be great - Thanks.

Yes, PT3 supports Merge. First you need to be running the latest beta - 3.07.1. Second, you need to have Merge set to save your hand histories. It's in the Settings -> Game tab. By default Merge saves to C:\Program Files\Merge\CarbonPoker. Make sure that directory is listed on the Merge Configuration tab in PT3 (on the Auto Import tab click Merge on the left then Merge Configuration on the right), and make sure Start Automatically With Auto Import is checked.

Then begin auto importing while playing and it should just work.

Hey guys Im having trouble with the merge HHs, when they have imported to PT3. I get "invalid position" with everyone position and HH, and this means I can't convert HH into forums. And PT3 seems to recognise 5 different seats + SB + BB, which is awkward when viewing stats by positions and just wierd in a HH when there is a seat to the left on the BTN that isn't a blind!

I appreciate that you're working on fixes right now, but I thought I'd just let you know.

Thanks
