I have trouble 16-tabling on FTP due to the lag. I can play fine until I turn on the HUD. Then it lags up even though I have it set to refresh every 10 hands. I could try more and more hands. I am using two 22" monitors, and what kind of graphics cards do you guys have ?
I currently am sitting on a 8600GTS, but was looking at the 9800GTX. Might have to modify the case since thats like 10.5 inches long.
Also, the transperency was working for the HUD on Beta 15. Has that been fixed ?
Try some performance tweaking.
Get Beta 16 (if you haven't already) and read the Release Notes. Download and install PT3.
Have a look at: Performance Tuning: Hard Drives Performance Tuning PostgreSQL.
Also use the Database menu to do the 'HouseKeeping' on your database.
You may find that enabling 'enhance HUD performance' on HUD Options helps too, although it shouldn't be so necessary in Beta 16.
