Making the hud smaller Making the hud smaller

I like to play 4-6 tables and when i tile the tables become pretty small and the hud becomes even more intrusive and clutters my screen/bet sizer/buttons and etc. Even on my tournament hud where i only have 2 lines this is really a problem. Is there a easy way to fix this issue?

Personally I use different groups of one line, so that I can put one line on top of the player and one underneath. You could change the font size (via the Statistics Properties section for each stat), but I find that makes things harder for me to read, myself.

If you want to find out more about HUD groups (each group appears as its own box) see the Tutorial: Managing HUD Groups. For more on HUD Configuration in general see the HUD FAQ.

Also can have the hud vertical instead of hor.
ie have 1 -2 stats for each line 4-5 lines
I have 1 of each but dont multitable as much as u guys.
The PF HUD group is HOR then a flop group vertical.
PT is so versital its limitless

Just for anyone else with this problem, heres what i did..

I changed the font size to 7 for everything except i left the first line with note editor/name/hands at 8 since it looks better that way. Then i changed the padding to 0 and it all really looks alot better and more bareable. Looks kind of weird when im not 4 tabling tiled but w/e. This is how i imagine it would look if it auto adjusted hud size with table size.

Actually im going to change it around a little bit. It looks so weird it tilts me when im not tiled.

What does the "padding" do?
Also the "name takes up more space than anything. I dont have it on the hud for my laptop. Name showes up on "tool tips" for every stat

Padding adds an extra pixel or two (depending on what you have it set to) around things so they don't run together. I don't have a problem setting it to 0 myself.

To make a "vertical" group all you need to do is add the "new line" special statistic after each stat. That will make the group appear vertical as it has one stat per line.

I agree I also only show player's names on popups, but some people like seeing it and if they feel they have the room on their screen . . . .

Where do you go to change the font size?

See the Statistic Properties - you change font size as part of the Font property.

Is there a way to adjust vertical padding. When I compare to HEM using exact
same stats, HEM takes up less space due to less vertical padding between lines.

I believe that's the Padding value on the Groups tab of the Hud Configuration.

The padding value affects both vertical and horizontal IIRC.

Can something be done to make the vertical padding more effecient?

That's the only padding setting that I'm aware of at this point in time.
