I've been using for 2 months, and all of a sudden today, it is not letting me start the import. Nothing has changed. I load up the software, click on "Start Auto Import" and get the following error:

Unable to begin feeder import process. Reason: Unable to login to database (PT3 DB). Reason: could not connect to server: Connection refused (0x0000274D/10061)

Any ideas?

Close down PT3, click Start --> Programs --> PostgreSQL --> Stop Services and then restart PT3 and see if that helps.

nope. didn't work. seems it cannot access the PT3 database for some reason.

Please attach the 3 most recent files in C:\Program Files\PostgreSQL\8.3\data\pg_log to a support ticket and we'll look into it for you.

I've got the same problem, have you figured out a solution to this yet?
