Database problems

Hi,
I have had some hard drive problems last weeks and now i cant connect to my Poker Tracker database it says,
"Error connecting to default database.
Please select one of the valid databases below or create a new one.
Note: It may take time for the Database List to fully populate."
And i when i try to do this my database wont open
..
Is it possible in anyway to save my HH from my database?
to reach the HH and just import it into a new database. .
