Re: HUHU NC/LC Thread for March

hmm this doesn't bode well for the games, he's improved a lot or at least gotten a lot less spewy

Re: HUHU NC/LC Thread for March

He varies a lot. I just played him and he still spewed horribly in spots, but he really does change gears a whole lot. He'll go from three betting 80% to only 3 betting strong hands. His stats vs me at 5/10 were still lol bad. For example in 132 hands his flop/turn/river cbet percentage was 95/100/100. Flop/Turn Agg% 84/88. If he used to be spewier, wowowowowow

Re: HUHU NC/LC Thread for March

Yeah Gild I was actually thinking the same thing, where is the famous spew. Oh there we go, thanks for letting me cap the turn and river with the nut straight versus your middle pair.

Re: HUHU NC/LC Thread for March

I have played sessions with him where he 3bets literally every hand on every street up until the river with 3rd pair, jack hi, etc...that's why I was surprised, hehe

He does this against me too but his jack hi quickly becomes jacks full.

Still lucky, but not as much.

I think you would agree with that.

Re: HUHU NC/LC Thread for March

I don't think it's ethical or fair to discuss someone's playing style. Ok saying someone is a particular masssive fish or something still not 100% fair but pretty much accepted as standard, but sharing their stats and how they play in more detail isn't on imo. Someone who's never played our friend peeeki can straight away first hand play a lot more exploitatively than vs any normal fresh opponent. Indeed, his particular style may work well for the first few hands against many people. And also bottom line by making it easier for others you're hurting your own global edge.

Re: HUHU NC/LC Thread for March

Here's how they play their first hand nowdays... I think Johnny is somewhat right about capping first hand with any two...
Absolute/UB Cereus Hold'em, $10.00 BB (2 handed) - Absolute/UB Cereus Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com

Hero (SB) ($200)

Hero bets $10, BB calls $5

Flop: ($20) 8, J, 8 (2 players)
BB checks, Hero bets $5, BB raises to $10, Hero calls $5

Turn: ($40) 9 (2 players)
BB bets $10, Hero raises to $20, BB calls $20 (All-In), Hero calls $10

River: ($100) 2 (2 players, 1 all-in)

Re: HUHU NC/LC Thread for March

It might hurt my edge a tiny tiny tiny bit but there is absolutely nothing unfair or unethical about me saying how often someone continuation bet the flop/turn/river.

Yes, there is.
Or would you be happy someone trailing your every game advising your opponent how you play? Extreme example but same principle.

I made a call with 5 high last night. Misread the double paired board obv and thought I hit my winning 2 pair on the river. That's when you know it is time to pack it in for the night

I've given no advice to anyone on how to play him. If someone was to rail me and tell my opponents generally how I play I honestly wouldn't care all that much. They're going to see how I play shortly. If they aren't any good they won't know what to do with that information.

I think according to 2+2 rules youre really not supposed to be calling people massive fish but its quite acceptable to discuss specifics of how people play.
